How do I know they are playing poorly? I
,The Pok茅rus (Japanese: 銉濄偙銉偣 Pok茅rus), from "Pok茅mon virus", is a microscopic life-form that may attach to Pok茅mon, first appearing in馃敂 the Generation II games. It is a beneficial mechanic that a Pok茅mon can obtain.
In the games
When a Pok茅mon has the馃敂 Pok茅rus, it gains double the effort values from battling (e.g., fighting a Magikarp will give two Speed EVs, rather than馃敂 one). Effort points gained from Vitamins and Feathers are not doubled. The infected Pok茅mon can infect other Pok茅mon with the馃敂 virus for a period of one to four days. However, the Pok茅rus timer can be delayed by several methods, such馃敂 as by placing the infected Pok茅mon in a PC Box.
While it is represented similarly to status conditions, the Pok茅rus is馃敂 not a status condition, so it cannot be healed at a Pok茅mon Center or with any status condition healing item.
Pok茅rus馃敂 has a 3 in 65,536 (or approximately a 1 in 21,845) chance of being generated on one of the player's馃敂 Pok茅mon after a battle, making it rarer than encountering or hatching a Shiny Pok茅mon. If any of the player's Pok茅mon馃敂 are infected, the Pok茅rus may spread among Pok茅mon in the player's party after any battle.
